Year 11 News
You have already completed the first 10% of the GCSE Geography course (Tropical Rainforest coursework); we will begin the Autumn term by undertaking the main study - worth 15% of your exam.
We will be going to Carding Mill Valley early in september to take field measurements which will help you to answer the study question
This Autumn term is a busy one. We will continue with the People, Work & Development unit after the coursework is completed. We will aim to complete this unit by the time of the Mock exams in December.
This means that the Mock exam will be as follows-
Paper 1 Case Study Paper
Based on the following units:
Water, Landforms & People
Climate, the Environments & People
People, Work & Development
Remember- to be as realistic as possible, we use past papers for the exams
and we include your coursework marks. Careful revision of all topics covered
